Hawaiian music legend Led Kaapana will take the stage, when the Mele on the Marina Festival returns to Hawaii Kai Towne Center, June 29. The free family-friendly event begins at 3 p.m, with live entertainment throughout the afternoon, at the scenic Marina Docks. The Mele on the Marina Festival continues through the summer.
Enjoy hula from Ka Pā Nani 'O Lilinoe at 3 p.m., followed by Hālau Kawaihoa at 4 p.m. Local singer/songwriter Kala‘e Camarillo performs at 5 p.m.
A multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano award winner, Led Kaapana takes the stage at 6 p.m. The slack key guitar master and Grammy Award nominee is known for his distinctive voice and easygoing style, entertaining listeners throughout the world.

The annual Mele on the Marina Festival series continues Hawaii Kai Towne Center’s tradition of bringing the best in local entertainment to East Oahu. Over the summer, the series will welcome many more talented artists and musicians, including Kulāiwi (featuring Hoku Award winners Kawika Kahiapo and Lehua Kalima) on July 27 and Hoku Award winners Ten Feet on Aug. 24.
